University of Hyderabad joined the PMRF scheme (https://www.pmrf.in/) in April 2020 and since then 69 PhD scholars received the PMRFs during the Cycle 5-6-7-8-9-10-11.
PMRFs Scheme is designed for supporting the very best talents in doctoral research in India with attractive fellowships. Under this scheme all the seven sciences school’s PhD scholars were selected through a rigorous selection process and their performance will be reviewed suitably through a national convention. Each fellow under the PMRF scheme will receive a starting monthly fellowship of Rs. 70,000/-, which may increase to a maximum monthly fellowship of Rs. 80,000/- towards the end of Ph.D., provided the performance during the initial years of Ph.D. is satisfactory.
