All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is periodically organizing Technical Leadership & Management Training workshops in collaboration with British Council U.K. It is a part of UKIERI program. The objective is to impart training on leadership and management to the mid and senior level faculty members of Technical Educational Institutes. This year, AICTE conducted its second workshop at 8 different places in virtual mode during January 18th-21st 2022, across the country with 20 participants in each workshop. Prof Samrat L. Sabat, Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology was invited to organize this programme at University of Hyderabad (UoH) during January 18th-21st 2022,. The training was being imparted by five master trainers, including Prof Samrat L. Sabat.
Twenty participants selected from technical institutions across the country, by the AICTE, were trained by the Master trainers in various aspects of Leadership and Management including successful industry academia linkage and challenges in Technical education, Teaching learning cycle, Effective presentation, Emotional Intelligence, Sustaining change management project. The workshop was inaugurated by Prof K.C.James Raju, Dean School of Physics and Prof M. Ghanashyam Krishna, Head CASEST. They addressed the participants on the importance of leadership , industry academia partnership in technical institutions.
Dr. P. Patil, SCRO–AICTE Hyderabad briefed the participants about the AICTE objectives in organising such activities. Prof Samrat L. Sabat , CASEST , workshop coordinator, welcomed the participants & guests and delivered a vote of thanks.
