Pavani Ayinampudi is an alumnus of University of Hyderabad: MSc Animal Biotechnology and PhD Animal Sciences (2008-17). Her research under the supervision of late Prof Aparna Dutta Gupta focussed on understanding the immune and stress responses in Lepidopteran pests.

After her PhD, she joined the Telangana Social Welfare Education Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) as a Degree Lecturer in Zoology. She has since been working as Officer on Special Duty (OSD – Academics) in the Higher Education Department of TGSWREIS. In this role, she has significantly contributed to organizational growth by spearheading the establishment of new courses and colleges, building national and international academic partnerships, upskilling students and faculty, and engaging in Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
Her Fulbright Nehru Masters Scholarship is a testament to her passion to champion the education of marginalized women of Telangana. Pavani has been admitted to the Masters in Education (Ed.M) program at the prestigious Harvard University.
Pavani hopes to learn best practices across the globe to advance her expertise in higher education administration and contribute to enhancing higher education in India. She aims to democratize education and develop tailored frameworks for institutions, empowering them to act as catalysts for societal transformation.
