Amararapu Saidulu, an alumnus of MA (History) 2016-2018 at University of Hyderabad had secured a PhD (History) admission and was successfully selected for Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung fully-funded scholarship for PhD studies at the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (CMIS), University of Göttingen in Germany.
His research topic at the University of Göttingen is “The Making and Unmaking of Leather Workers in the Colonial Telugu States: A Case Study of the Madiga Community.” He will be working with Prof. Rupa Vishwanath in the Centre for Modern Indian Studies at University of Göttingen.
