M Anees, a Ph.D. research scholar under the guidance of Dr. Madhavi Ravikumar in the Department of Communication, SN School of Arts & Communication, University of Hyderabad (UoH), presented a paper titled “Connected Lives: Revolutionizing Health and Social Interaction with Wearable Technology in India” at the 16th International Conference on Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction (IHCI).
This prestigious event, hosted by The BMS Lab at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands, took place from November 13 to 15, 2024. Anees’s research, which has also been accepted for publication, explores the transformative impact of wearable technology on health and social connectivity within the Indian context, highlighting its potential to reshape everyday interactions and wellness practices.
