The University of Hyderabad’s ASPIRE Foundation Day event was a resounding success, featuring a keynote address by renowned gastroenterologist Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals and Padma Vibhushan designate.

Dr. Reddy’s address highlighted the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, showcasing AIG Hospitals’ pioneering work in AI-based medical robots, AI-guided endoscopy, and natural language processing tools.

“A doctor who knows how to use AI will replace a doctor who doesn’t,” emphasized Dr. Reddy, underscoring the need for professionals from diverse backgrounds to drive this revolution.

ASPIRE-HDFC Bank Partnership

The event also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ASPIRE and HDFC Bank, launching the EcoInnovate Program. This initiative aims to support startups working in sustainable chemistry, waste valorization, circular economy, and smart/alternative proteins.

Under the EcoInnovate Program, selected startups will receive mentorship, business model guidance, go-to-market strategy support, and financial assistance of up to ₹10 lakhs.
