A book titled AVITI KATHALU, comprising of stories about the lives, struggles and accomplishments of the physically challenged persons was released at the University of Hyderabad. The book was released by Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy on occasion of the Birthday celebrations of Louise Braille.
The book has been edited by Sri Vemula Yellaiah, a famous Dalit writer and Sri Shankar Sapangi who is pursuing Ph.D. at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU).
The book contains 25 stories of persons who have faced problems in their personal front as well as in the society and how they have been able to overcome the same by participating in the various developmental activities and contributing to literature. The authors expressed gratitude to Prof. T Ramakrishna, Dr. Darla Venkateshwara Rao and Dr. Pammi Pavan Kumar of the Department of Telugu, University of Hyderabad for their support and encouragement in bringing out this book.
Sri Rajender Sankavarapu and Sri Nagaraju Asileti, students of UoH pursuing their M.Phil and Ph.D. are among the 25 authors who have contributed to the book.
