Prof. E Haribabu Vice-Chancellor, Shri M Sudhakar, Registrar and other officials of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) paid floral tributes to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his 108th birth anniversary on 5th April 2015.
Throughout his life, Babu Jagjivan Ram believed passionately in human dignity and individual freedom. He was a freedom fighter and social reformer hailing from Bihar. His birth anniversary day is observed as ‘Samata Diwas’ as he believed in bringing equality among all in the society.
