Shri C P Mohan Kumar, Registrar of University of Hyderabad (UoH) bid farewell to the University and will be joining the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) as its Registrar from 10 July 2013. Prior to joining UoH as Registrar on 25 July 2009, Shri Mohan Kumar was Officer on Special Duty (Finance & Accounts) at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. TISS is his parent organization where he was earlier working as Dy. Registrar – Finance & Accounts.
Born in 1961, Shri Kumar started his career with Indian Council of Agricultural Research, (under Department of Agriculture Research & Education) Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi. Armed with an M. Com degree from Loyala College (Chennai) as well as a Diploma in Finance Management from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, Hyderabad, Shri Mohan Kumar has a rich experience in Finance as well as Administration.
Today (9 July 2013) Shri Mohan Kumar was given a warm farewell and felicitation by the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Deans of the various Schools, Officers and Non-Teaching staff of the University. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy thanked Shri Mohan Kumar for his services rendered at the University and wished him success in his new assignment. The officers and non-teaching staff recalled the good work done by Shri Mohan Kumar at UoH which had benefited many employees of the University. Speaking at the programmes organized by the Officers and non-teaching staff, Shri Mohan Kumar thanked all of them for supporting him during his stay at UoH and called upon them to work hard and sincerely for taking the University to greater heights.
