A Campus Cultural Centre was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. B J Rao on October 13, 2022. The centre has been established to carry forward the artistic legacy of the University.

During the inaugural speech Prof. B J Rao remembered how difficult it was to learn music and other performing arts few decades ago, and expressed hope to achieve cultural promotion through the centre. Dean of Students’ welfare, Prof. G. Nagaraju expressed desire to conduct cultural activities regularly through the cultural centre.

Cultural coordinator, Dr. Aranyakumar from the Department of Music informed that the centre will conduct amature and professional music classes for the students and campus residents with affordable fees. Faculty of music department Dr. Pragya and Dr. Pavani joined the interactive session with the Vice Chancellor and students. Prof. Manimaran, Prof. Chakravarti along with several students were present during the occasion.

The program started with beautiful chorus singing by the students of the music department, Dr. Aranyakumar delivered the vote of thanks. An exhibition of musical instruments and photographs was also arranged on this occasion.
