At the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge- 2024, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Kum Moksha Roopa and Kum Lina Singh from the UH campus school bagged merit certificates. A preliminary test (Level 1) was conducted by the school, with the question paper provided by CBSE through its portal, to all the students of class 8th and the top three students were nominated to second level, based on merit, to take part in Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC). Kum. Moksha Roopa and Kum. Lina Singh are in the first 100 students of entire CBSE Vijayawada Region.
The primary focus of the challenge is to evaluate students’ ability to utilize mathematical concepts in practical, real-life scenarios. This AGC is aimed to foster the development of essential competencies in applying mathematics to everyday situations and to encourage more holistic understanding of the subject beyond theoretical concepts.
