Deepika Kashyap, PhD Research Scholar in Department of Communication, S N School of Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad presented a paper titled “Production and Circulation of Nyishi Folklore in the Digital Realm” in the 9th International Conference of Young Folklorists at the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore, Vilnius, Lithuania during September 18-20, 2019. The theme of the conference is (Ir)relevance of Classical Folkloristics in the 21st Century.
Deepika is working under the supervision of Dr. P Kennedy, Associate Professor, Communication Department, UoH. Currently she is a visiting PhD fellow at Department of Estonian and Comparative Folklore, University of Tartu, and working under the guidance of Prof. Ülo Valk.
