Dr. Abin Thomas, who has done Ph.D. in Earth and Space Science (2017-2022) under the supervision of Dr. Vijay P. Kanawade at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), has joined as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) at the University of Helsinki, Finland in July 2022.
Dr. Abin has published three first-authored and 4 co-authored articles during his Ph.D. at the University, including Nature Communications, Nature Scientific Reports, Science of the Total Environment, etc. He will be carrying out research on biosphere-atmosphere interactions using eddy-covariance measurements in Finland. Dr. Abin, a resident of Kozhikode, Kerala, says, “I did my Masters and Ph.D. in the Centre for Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (School of Physics). It has been an enriching journey, and I am grateful for it. I hope to carry forward the momentum that UoH has given me.”
