Dr. Arya Agarwal, second year student of the MBA program in Healthcare and Hospital Management at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad (UoH), received the esteemed Dr. Dinesh Memorial Award for Quality Excellence during the DATACON 2024 conference.

The conference held on August 24-25, 2024, at Yashoda Hospitals in Hitech City, gathering prominent healthcare professionals and researchers. Dr. Agarwal delivered a presentation on the significant topic of “Data-Driven Decision Making in Evidence-Based Practice.” This event, organized in partnership with IADHA, the Society for Emergency Medicine India, and Ragava International Institute, highlighted innovative approaches to enhancing healthcare through data utilization.

Dr. Agarwal’s presentation, titled “Improving Healthcare Efficiency: The Impact of Data Quality on Patient Turnaround Time,” was acknowledged for its outstanding contribution to healthcare management, earning her a cash award of INR 10,000.

Additionally, Aysha Razmiya, another exemplary second-year MBA Healthcare student, showcased her project, “Elevating Out-Patient Transfer to MRI: A Strategic Data Quality Improvement Initiative,” which received praise from the panel for its innovative strategy.
