Dr. Dinabandhu Sethi, alumnus of the School of Economics at University of Hyderabad has joined the Department Economic Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal as an Assistant Professor. He was awarded PhD in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Debashis Acharya. He also completed his MA in 2012 from the School of Economics. Prior to joining IISER Bhopal, Dinabandhu was working as an Economist in the Centre of Excellence in Fiscal Policy and Taxation (Govt. of Odisha and XIM Bhubaneswar) as an Economist.

Dr. Dinabandhu has so far published 15 papers in journals of leading publishing houses like Routledge, Springer, Sage, Wiley and Emerald.
