Dr. Kishore Kumar, an alumnus joins IIT-Jammu as Faculty

Dr. Kishore Kumar, an alumnus of the School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been appointed as a faculty at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jammu.

Dr. Kishore, who completed his 5-year Integrated M.Sc. in Optometry and Vision Science (2008-2013) from UoH, has made history by becoming the first alumnus from the School of Medical Sciences to join an IIT as faculty. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and the strong academic foundation provided by the University of Hyderabad.
