The Government of Mizoram has announced the appointment of Dr. Malsawmdawngliana and Dr. Hmingthanzuali, both alumnus of University of Hyderabad (UoH) to prominent state commissions. Dr. Malsawmdawngliana has been appointed as a member of the Mizoram Youth Commission.
He earned his PhD in 2012 under the supervision of Dr. MN Rajesh in the Department of History. In a separate move, Dr. Hmingthanzuali has been appointed as a member of the Mizoram State Commission for Women. She completed her PhD in 2011 under the guidance of Prof. Rekha Pande in the Department of History. Both appointments are at the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of Mizoram.
