Dr Nivea Thomas K, an alumnus of both the Department of English and the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been awarded the Charles Wallace India Trust Visiting Fellowship 2024 at the Global Cultures Institute in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King’s College London.

Dr. Thomas, has completed her PhD in Translation Studies under the guidance of Prof. S Arulmozi and currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English and Cultural Studies, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.
She will be conducting research for her project entitled ‘Mapping the Cultural Terrains of Christian Hagiography in Kerala: Oral Narratives and Communities’.
