Blood Donation Camp at UoH
Prof. Ramakrishna Ramaswamy, Vice-Chancellor, University of Hyderabad (UoH) inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp organized by the NSS Cell, UoH in collaboration with the Lions Club of Hyderabad, Saberi and Manjeera on 14th August, 2013 at the Health Centre in view of the 66th India’s Independence Day Celebrations.
The camp was held from 9 am till 1.30 pm. Prof. Ramaswamy also donated blood along with 94 students and staff. Out of these 21 were ladies and 73 were gents.
The technical aspects were coordinated by Dr. P. Rajashree, Chief Medical Officer, Health Centre, UoH. Dr. V. Srinivas Rao, NSS Coordinator, UoH was involved in mobilizing the blood donors in the University.
On behalf of Lions Club of Hyderabad Ln. G. Babu Rao, Past Multiple Council Chairperson and Ln. ASV Subba Rao, Additional Cabinet Treasurer, and other members were present at the camp.
