Today, 5 October, 2019 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between University of Hyderabad(UoH), India and University of Dhaka, Bangladesh was exchanged by Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor, University of Dhaka from Bangladesh side and Smt Riva Ganguly Das, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh in the presence of Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Ms.Sheikh Hasina and Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India during launching of various Joint Development projects at Hyderabad House, New Delhi. Shri P. Sardar Singh, Registrar, University of Hyderabad was present at the exchange function.

The MoU exchanged today is primarily a generic MoU. The main areas of collaborations are Academic Exchange, R & D Collaboration, Student Exchange, Exchange of Information, Joint organization of National and International Symposia, Conferences of mutual interest.

Further, the main focus of this MoU is to Develop Academic and Educational cooperation on the basis of equality and reciprocity and to promote relations and mutual understanding between both the Universities.

This MoU is signed for a period of five years.
