The Junior Science Club (JSC) and SHAPE your Thought at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), organized their annual student research symposium ‘Coherence’ on October 11, 2014. The conference was aimed at giving the students of the Integrated Masters and Masters programme a flavour of research in various fields and also give them an opportunity to present their work done during their internships and projects.
There were twenty such talks by students from various fields of Natural and Social Sciences. There was also a talk by Nayan Chakraborty, who spoke about his experience in Asian Science Camp 2014.
The symposium was attended by more than 120 participants, which included faculty and students. The valedictory session was chaired by Prof. Naresh Kumar Sharma and Dr. Illangovan, who gave the certificates and mementoes to the symposium speakers and prizes to the winners of Quiz and Science Fiction competitions conducted earlier in the run up to Coherence `14.
It was a wonderful event successfully organized by the JSC and SHAPE your Thought.
