Mr. Gadicherla Naveen, a PhD scholar at the Centre of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS), University of Hyderabad, presented his paper titled, “Analyzing Logical Metafunction in Telugu” at the 9th International Conference on Appliable Linguistics held at Martin Centre for Appliable Linguistics, School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiao Tong University from November 5 – 10, 2024.

Mr. Naveen is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Nagaraju Mandly with Prof. Bhimrao Panda Bhosale as his co-supervisor. He participated in this conference, preceded by an intensive pre-conference workshop, led by experts like Prof. CMIM Matthiessen, Prof. J R Martin, Wang Pin and others. His attendance in the prestigious event provided crucial guidance and insights to his doctoral study.
