Dr. S. Srinath, Associate Professor, School of Physics at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected as an Associate Fellow of AP Akademi of Sciences (APAS).
Dr. Srinath is presently working at University of Hyderabad from August 2006. Prior to this, he has been post doctoral fellow at Physics Department, University of South Florida (2006-2004) and Argonne National laboratory from 2002 to 2004. He obtained his Ph.D from University of Hyderabad, in December 2000 for the thesis entitled “Investigation of crossover phenomena in thermal and percolation critical behaviour of ferromagnets and reentrant phenomena in quench random disordered spin systems”.
Dr. Srinath’s Research Interests include Magnetic nanostructures, Multiferroics, Magnetic Multilayers/thin films, Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors, Magnetic Oxides, Metallic glasses and Polymer Nanocomposites.
Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences is the first of its kind in the country that came into existence with fifty foundation members, nominated by the Government, in March 1963.
