On 15th July 2024, the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at the University of Hyderabad proudly commenced Batch 2 of its training program dedicated to the upskilling of administrative staff from degree colleges under the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education (CCE), Government of Andhra Pradesh. This initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration between MMTTC and CCE, Andhra Pradesh, marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the competencies of faculty and administrative personnel across the state.
The inaugural event witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar of the University of Hyderabad, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Sri D. Chakrapani, a distinguished retired IAS officer and Chairman of Andhra Mahila Sabha, honoured the event as the Guest of Honour. Their participation underscored the significance of continuous professional development and the pivotal role of administrative staff in fostering an effective educational environment.
Keynote addresses were delivered by notable guests, including Dr. P. Anil Kumar, Officer on Special Duty to the Commissioner of CCE, and Dr. Radha Krishna, Assistant Director of CCE. Their insights highlighted the strategic importance of administrative proficiency in aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) and driving institutional success.
The program is coordinated by Dr. Irala Lokanadha Reddy, whose leadership ensures the training’s alignment with contemporary educational standards and practices. He is ably supported by Mr. B. Srinivas, the Associate Coordinator of the course, whose dedication to program excellence has been instrumental in its success.
Since the inception of this collaborative effort, MMTTC under the able leadership of Prof. Prakash Babu has successfully conducted four batches of training for faculty members across various disciplines. With the initiation of this current batch focused on administrative staff, the program aims to extend its impact, equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge to meet modern educational demands efficiently.
The inaugural event set a positive tone for the training program, emphasizing the commitment of MMTTC and CCE, Government of Andhra Pradesh, to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
