It’s a festive atmosphere at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) with the admissions to the PG, Integrated PG, M.Phil, M.Tech, Ph.D and PG Diploma Courses going on in full swing. These admissions are based on the performance in the entrance examinations conducted all over India by the University in February 2013 followed by an interview for some courses wherever it was prescribed. From more than 27,000 students who appeared in the entrance tests the candidates who have qualified and excelled have been called for the admissions in the main-list as well as the wait-list.
More than 2000 seats in IMA; IMSc, MA, MSc, MCA, M.Phil, M.Tech, MFA, MPA, MPH, MBA (Health Care & Hospital Management), Adv. PG Diploma in Folk Culture Studies) and Ph.D are available for admissions.
The main-list admissions will be completed by 2nd July 2013 whereas the wait-list admissions are expected to be completed by 4th July 2013. The semester teaching will commence by 15 July 2013.
The team at the Academics and examinations office is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the process of admissions is smooth and convenient for the students and officials. The Dean, Students Welfare and the NSS Coordinator have been providing the help desk for guiding the new students. Many senior students from the University are enthusiastically helping the fresher’s in completing the formalities for admissions.
