Latha K. V., a research scholar from Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected as Assistant Professor by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). She has started working in Government First Grade College, Koppa affiliated to Mysore University.

Latha stood among the top in undergraduate at Christ University, Bengaluru. Then she joined University of Hyderabad to do Post-Graduate in the Department of Political Science at University of Hyderabad and secured second rank in MA. Later she joined MPhil in the same department under the supervision of Dr. K.K. Kailash (Associate Professor). She submitted her Mphil dissertation on “Implementation of MPLAD Scheme and Clientalism in Telangana”.

She scored all India top rank in the PhD Political Science entrance exam 2015-16 conducted by University of Hyderabad. Her doctoral research is on “Representatives and Party Switching in India”.
