The Society for Quizzers and Debaters (SQUAD), an initiative of SHAPE Your Thought has successfully conducted the MASTERMIND UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE-University level quiz competition on 24th March, 2014 at the Humanities Auditorium.
More than 54 teams participated in the event and each team consisted of two members. Five teams were selected for the final round after the prelims. The questions in various rounds covered almost all areas such as History, Politics, Science, Technology, Popular Culture, Sports, Literature and so on.
The first prize of Rs.3000/- was won by Dhiraj Thayal and Gokulananda Mohapatra. The second prize of Rs.2000/- was pocketed by Maheswara Rao Kota and Medi Chaitanya while Anoop CK and Thoufeeque Rehman K were the winners of the third prize of Rs.1000/-.
Prof. Radha, Deputy Director, Centre for Integrated Studies gave away the prizes to the winners.
