A mesmerizing Dance Recital was staged at the University of Hyderabad by the students of the Dance department at the S N School of Arts and Communication under the name VRUKSHAH on April 3, 2019 at the Savitribai Phule DST Auditorium.
Vrukshah, a group of enthusiastic dancers celebrated the traditional forms of both Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi. The team together brought in a melange of the martial arts like Kalaripayatu, yoga and theatre. The team beautifully blended the mythical elements with the current social subjects.
Vrukshah made a successful effort to improvise the theatre and culture with the aid of Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi.
The dancers captivated the audience with graceful performance and were successful in evolving a genre of art forms intertwined with each and every nuances of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kalaripayatu and theatre.
The performers were Roshni Raghunath, PT Karthika, Ashwathy Chandran, MS Sreeshma, Aishwarya K Sudhi, MS Amrutha Lakshmi, VV Kavya, AP Anju Aravind, CN Aashlee, Amalendu K Raj and Pasumarthi Kumara Datta.
