Milind Sen, working under the supervision of Prof. K. Raja Mohan Rao and co-guidance of Dr. J.Rani Ratnaprabha at the Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) presented a paper titled “Migration Governance in India” at 3rd International Istanbul Geography Congress 2023, jointly organised by Faculty of Letter, Department of Geography, Istanbul University and Turkish Geographical Society on June 21-23, 2023.
The conference entitled “Geography in the Century: Opportunities and Threats for Sustainability” was open to all other disciplines related to the discipline of Geography within the framework of the mentioned. Also in congress, due to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, the situation of the discipline of Geography in Turkey in the 100th anniversary was also discussed.
The conference served as an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange and networking opportunities in the field of migration and development. Milind expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the generous funding provided by the Institution of Eminence (IoE) at UoH.
