The Young Economist School (YES), a solely student run initiative organized an alumni meet, Nostalgia 2013 of the School of Economics.
There were alumni from across the batches. The meet was inaugurated by Prof. E. Haribabu, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Hyderabad. Dr.Narasimha Reddy, an eminent economist and retired faculty member of the School and Sri. Venkasteswar Rao, former member of the non -teaching staff were felicitated on the occasion.
The alumni expressed their delight in the reception that they had received and were seen thoroughly enjoying the cultural programme that the students had put together for them. The post lunch session turned out to be extremely interactive with every alumnus offering support in each one’s capacity. It was indeed an extremely happy occasion for the faculty and scholars of the School of Economics.
