The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell, University of Hyderabad organized a clean-up drive programme at School of Humanities in coordination with the Horticulture department on 19 August 2023.
The NSS volunteers swept the dry leaves in the premises and on the terrace of the building, cut the bushes and the branches of the trees, which were causing damage to the walls, and terrace of the building. Volunteers worked for almost 4 hours 30 minutes beginning from 6 am to 10: 30 am despite the incessant rain.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Co-ordinator and Dr. Bhimsingh, Programme Officer guided the volunteers while participating in the activity. Priyanka Priyadarshini, Suprabha Mahto, Mohd Zunaid, Mahendar, Ajay Prakash, Sunny Kumar, Sonu Verma, Yogendra Pratap Singh, Sandeep Singh, Ponaganti Abhilash, K. Venkatadas and Prakash and his team from the Horticulture department participated in the programme.
