The NSS cell, University of Hyderabad (UoH) organized a cleanup drive programme on the premises of the School of Humanities in coordination with the Horticulture and Sanitation departments on November 16, 2024.
The NSS volunteers cut and removed the unnecessary plants, branches of the trees, and bushes and swept the dry leaves.
They cleared the waste that was left by the builder around the new building of the School of Humanities and transported all the waste to the dump yard by tractor. NSS volunteers worked almost six hours from 7 am to 1 pm.
The premises of the school have a new look after the participants’ service. Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator and Dr. Bhimsingh, NSS Programme Officer guided the volunteers while participating in the activity.
They appreciated the volunteers’ participation in the programme besides being busy preparing for the forthcoming end-semester examinations.
