The NSS Cell, University of Hyderabad, organized a cleanup drive program at the approach road of the School of Humanities in coordination with the Horticulture and Sanitation departments on 27-04-2024.
The NSS volunteers cut dried wooden logs and removed the unnecessary plants, bushes, and creepers, swept the dry leaves and cleared the heavy wooden logs lying on both sides of the road for several years.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Co-ordinator–cum–Programme Officer, said that volunteers worked very actively for five hours from 6 am to 11 am despite hot weather. He guided the volunteers while participating in the programme.
