The NSS cell, University of Hyderabad organized a cleanup drive on the premises of the School of Life Sciences in coordination with the Sanitation department on January 25, 2025.
The NSS volunteers and workers of the sanitation department swept the dry leaves, collected plastic water bottles, bags, and plastic sheets thrown on the side of the road, glass bottles and its broken pieces thrown around by unidentified miscreants. They swept the glass pieces and tidied up the area.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator and Dr. Bhimsingh, Programme Officer supervised while participating in the programme. They appealed to the university community to take utmost care and preserve the beauty of the surroundings.
