The NSS cell, University of Hyderabad organized a clean up drive programme on the premises of Kendriya Vidyalaya, University of Hyderabad campus in coordination with the Horticulture and Sanitation department on 16 March 2024.
The NSS volunteers cut the unwanted bushes, creepers, and branches of the trees, cleared the heaps of dry leaves and transported all the waste to the dump yard by tractor. They collected plastic bottles and covers in the premises of the school, both sides of the approach roads and playground of the school.
Dr. B. Krishnaiah, the NSS Coordinator, Dr. Bhimsingh, the Programme officer, Santosh and his team from the Horticulture department, and Mahindar and his team from the sanitation department participated in the programme.
