The School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, celebrated its Annual Day on March 5, 2025, with a vibrant cultural evening that showcased the talents of its students and faculty.
The event, which was met with an overwhelming response from the students, featured a diverse range of performances, including solo songs, Carnatic classical music, folk songs, recitations, drama, and instrumental performances on the flute, guitar, and veena.
The highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing veena performance by Ms. B. Madhurima, a Ph.D. student and graded All-India Radio artist. Other students also delivered impressive performances, demonstrating their hidden talents.
The Annual Day celebrations concluded with the felicitation of athletic talents from the School of Physics. Prof. P. K. Suresh, Dean of the School of Physics, delivered the concluding remarks, praising the collective efforts that made the event a success and encouraging continued participation in extracurricular activities.
