Dr. Yenugu Suresh, faculty in the Department of Animal Biology at the School of Life Sciences in the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for the prestigious Prof. G. P. Talwar Middle Career Scientist Award-2016 in recognition of his research contributions.

This award will be conferred on Dr. Suresh during the forthcoming 26th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF) along with International Conference on Reproductive Health with Emphasis on Occupational, Environmental & Lifestyle Factors (ISSRF-2016), February 18-20, 2016, at NIOH, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Suresh is a PhD from Osmania University and his broad area of research include reproductive endocrinology, with specific emphasis on male reproductive tract immunology and contraception. He has won many awards and honours that include DBT Postdoctoral fellow, Department of Biochemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Ocotober 1999 to May 2001; Fogarty International Trainee, Laboratories for Reproductive Biology, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA – June 2001 to May 2004; Research Associate, University of North Carolina, USA, June 2004 to Nov 2005; DST Young Scientist Award; DBT Overseas Associateship; ICMR-Tilak Venkoba Rao award and is also the Academic Editor, PLoS ONE.
