Professor K.N. Murty, a seasoned macro-econometrician of the country and the Former Dean of School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, who served the Department of Economics and School of Economics from May 1985 to July 2015, passed away on 5th September 2023 at 11 p.m. in the Care Hospital, Gachibowli.
