Prof. Sarat Jyotsna Rani received the Degree from Dr. S.C. Jamirji, Odisha Governor & Chancellor, Berhampur University, Odisha.

About Prof. Sarat Jyotsna Rani:

Prof. Sarat Jyotsna Rani has been a Senior Professor at UoH and functioned as Head, Department of Telugu and Coordinator of the Centre for Classical Language – Telugu. As Professor of Telugu 26 Ph.D., M.Phil students got awards under her supervision. She is a well-known writer and poetess especially in Literature circle and a contemporary writer in the field of poetry, free verse short stories, literary criticism and other research areas in Telugu Literature. Prof. Sarat Jyotsna Rani has published more than 23 books and poems which have been translated into English and Hindi and some of the students have done their Ph.D Thesis and M.Phil dissertation on these poems. She has received 31 awards which include Grihalakshmi Swarna Kanakam National Award, Telugu University Visesha Purashkaram in 2003 and Sangamitra International Award in Sri Lanka in the year 2013.
