Prof. Shivarama Padikkal joins the Academic Advisory Board of SSCTIS

Professor Shivarama Padikkal, Professor of Translation Studies at the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS), University of Hyderabad has been invited to join the Academic Advisory Board of the county’s unique translation centre, the Sri Sri Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies (SSCTIS) established by the Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Orissa.

Prof. Shivarama Padikkal was earlier conferred with the V.M. Inamdar Literary Criticism Award (2002) and the B.H. Sridhara Literary Award (2003) for his NaaduNudiyaRuupaka: Raastra Adhunikatemattu Kannadada Modala Kaadambarigalu (2001), a book on nation, modernity, and early novels in Kannada. He was also selected as the member of the Editorial Board of the international web journal SAHITYA published under the auspices of the Comparative Literature Association of India.
