The program aspires to converge academia and industry in the larger interest of telecom and IT sectors and is also a sterling example of public-public partnership in wider national interest. While on the one hand the telecom sector is on the path of exponential growth, there is on the other hand an acute shortage of skilled professionals equipped with both managerial acumen and technical know-how. According to analysts, telecom sector in India is poised to generate (direct & indirect) employment opportunities for about 8 to 10 million professionals in the coming years.

The program includes four weeks on campus training which comprises of class room coaching, lab sessions and field visits.
