Ms. Ramya Chitrapu, PhD Scholar, Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) working with Dr. K.Y. Ratnam presented two papers in the 6th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP6) by the International Public Policy Association (IPPA) on June 28, 2023. Her papers titled “Shorter or Longer Route to Accountability: The case of the Indian Public Sector” and “Data-Driven Public Policies: The Case of Evidence- Based Policy Making (EBPM) in India” were presented in virtual mode in two panels- “T03P03 Holding the Public sector accountable: What roles for parliaments, executives, and citizens?” and “T07P12 Practices of evidence use: empirical insights from different policy-making context” respectively. ICPP6 is being held in collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) between June 26 and June 29, 2023 at Toronto, Canada in a hybrid format.

Ms. Chitrapu was awarded a grant by IPPA for her participation in the Conference. The International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP) is a biennial conference conducted by IPPA on Public Policy and allied areas which provides a platform for academicians from across the world to share their research on various critical policy aspects.
