Prof. B J Rao inaugurates Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir by distributing Swachhata Kit
More than 200 Kits distributed to Sanitation and Horticulture Workers
Vice Chancellor of University of Hyderabad (UoH), Prof. B J Rao, inaugurated a Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir under the Swachhata hi Seva campaign at the Zakir Husain Lecture Hall Complex on campus by distributing Swachhata Kit to more than 200 sanitation and horticulture workers on 27th September 2024.
Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar; officials were also present at the event.
Prof. B J Rao also administered a Swachhata Pledge to everyone. A Swachhata anthem was also played during the event. The Suraksha Kits include a shirt, cap, hand towel, shoes, gloves, masks.
Prof. BJ Rao and Dr. Devesh Nigam distributed the kits. The event was organized by Sri A Srinivasa Rao, Joint Registrar, Sanitation & Horticulture, Dr. B Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator, Dr. Bhim Singh, the NSS Programme Officer, Faculty, Officers and Staff.
