Nidhi Bhutada, Department of Sanskrit Studies, presented a paper on “School Mathematics from Ancient India” in 11th International Conference on Indian Knowledge System for achieving sustainable development goals, at School of Management Sciences Varanasi held on 2nd and 3rd March 2024.

The Core understanding of Paper is, Need to add more methods of Mathematics that are already in Ancient Mathematics books given by Scholars like Bhaskar Acharya, Mahavirachrya, Aryabhatta, Shridhara, to our school syllabus. To Give Flexibility of choice to math enthusiasts for solving questions with different methods so that they don’t rote learn only selective formulas, no need to limit students to only selective methods. And Comparative Analysis of School methods with Ancient India Methods.
