The Association of Health and Hospital Administrators AHHA CME 2023 conference held at Yashoda Hospitals in Hi-tech City, Hyderabad, was enriching and illuminating experience for more than 300 healthcare professionals in attendance. The conference focused on exploring the latest trends in healthcare, with experts and dignitaries from across the country sharing their insights and knowledge.
We are delighted to report that our students Nisha Kumari and Yamini Yerramsetti presented a paper on the topic of “Latest Trends in Healthcare”. Students also adjudged as Winner (first prize) by esteemed jury of healthcare management with cash amount of Rs. 10,000/-, making this conference even more memorable occasion for our School of Management Studies.
The conference highlighted the importance of many emerging technologies in health care. One of the standout moments was in-depth exploration of the Doctor-Manager relationships, importance of effective communication and collaboration. It is clear that fostering a healthy partnership between medical professional and administrations is pivotal for delivering top-notch patient care and driving organizational success.
The paper presented by students titled as “Latest Trends in Healthcare” showcased the dynamic evolution of the healthcare industry. The paper details about the challenges of healthcare technology and maximizing impact in the health care sector. The presentation highlighted the transformative impact of telemedicine, artificial intelligence in diagnostics, personalized medicine, robotic-assisted surgeries, and the integration of mental health tech. These trends signify a shift towards patient-centric, data-driven, and technologically advanced healthcare solutions, ultimately leading to enhanced access, accuracy, and quality of care. The paper emphasized how these trends are shaping the future of healthcare and improving patient outcomes while addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by this exciting era of innovation in the medical field. There are also many issues showing the negative impact of technological advancement in healthcare which can take place in future like – Job Losses, High Implementation Cost of the Technology, Data Threat and Lethal Medical Errors were also discussed.
