Shashi Kumar G K, PhD Research Scholar in Translation Studies from the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been invited to United Kingdom to participate and present his research paper in an international conference. He will be presenting the paper titled “A Critical Analysis of Feminism and Gender Roles in the Four Kannada Versions of English Play Pygmalion” in the International Conference at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
The International Leverhulme Network, Conference entitled “Translating Feminism: Multi-disciplinary Perspectives on Text, Place and Agency” is hosted by the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Glasgow from 13-15 June 2018. All expenses to be incurred by Shashi Kumar are being sponsored by the organisers.
Shashi Kumar is currently working on his PhD under the guidance and supervision of two joint supervisors’, Prof. Shivarama Padikkal and Prof. Bhimrao Panda Bhosale.
