Mr. Siddharth Sahoo, a student from Integrated Masters in Chemical Sciences at University of Hyderabad, has been selected for the MSc Chemistry program for the year 2023 at the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovot, Israel. He will be awarded a monthly fellowship of 7000 NIS for a period of two years. The fellowship covers the accommodation and living expenses. The students selected for the program are charged no tuition fees.
The MSc Chemistry program is offered and managed by the Feinberg Graduate School which is a part of the Weizmann Institute of Science. As a student of the Feinberg Graduate School, he will be involved in the scientific research conducted at the institute and devote his time to both research and study through 24 credits of course work, three laboratory rotations and one year of thesis work. The three laboratory rotations are part of the first year along with mandatory 16 credits of course work. The remaining credits, and if any extra credits, could be completed in the second year along with the Master’s thesis. The Institution provides complete liberty to the students to choose their obligatory and elective courses from their own department and other departments as well.
