Mr. Sivolla Pranay Kumar who completed M. Tech. (Nanoscience and Technology) from the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST), University of Hyderabad (UoH) is selected for a prestigious joint PhD program of Australia-France Network of Doctoral Excellence (AUFRANDE). This program is being operated by the COFUND, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Horizon Europe, European Union and will be operated by a joint initiative between INSA Lyon (Institute National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, France) and Deakin University (Australia).
Sivolla Pranay Kumar
During this doctoral program, Mr. Pranay will perform research on precipitation strengthening of medium-entropy alloys, aiming to enhance their potential for different structural engineering applications.
As part of his M. Tech. (Nanoscience and Technology) at SEST-UoH, Mr. Pranay carried out research on “Synthesis and characterization of equiatomic NbV and NbVTi medium-entropy alloys with different microstructural length scales” under the supervision of Prof. Koteswararao V. Rajulapati.
