Sonali Bindhani, PhD scholar under the supervision of Dr Geetha Gopinath and co-guided by Dr A.S. Jalandharachari, Department of Education and Education Technology (DEET), School of Social Sciences (SSS); has participated and presented her research papers at the Global Forum 2025 | Reimagining the Education of Humanity for the Third Millennium. The conference, themed “Reimagining the Education of Humanity for the Third Millennium. The outcome of this initiative was a Global Declaration that proposes aims and values of education, and institutional approaches and general principles of pedagogy at different levels of education,” was held from 13 – 15 February 2025, at Ashoka, Azim Premji University, Survey No 66, Burugunte Village, Bikkanahalli Main Road, Sarjapura, Bengaluru 562125, India.

Sonali Bindhani, a research scholar in the Department of Education and Education Technology, School of Social Sciences, presented her paper titled ” A study of Perception, knowledge and practices of TPACK among the DIET students in India.” Her study examines the perception, knowledge, and practices of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) among DIET students in India, who play a crucial role in shaping future educators.

As technology integration becomes essential in modern classrooms, understanding TPACK competencies helps identify gaps in teacher training programs. The findings will contribute to enhancing digital pedagogy, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and ensuring effective technology-driven teaching strategies. Additionally, this study provides insights into improving pre-service teacher education, promoting equity in digital access, and fostering innovative teaching methodologies. The scholar contributions were lauded for their innovative methodologies and relevance to contemporary challenges in the teaching-learning process. The global forum 2025 served as a platform for these young researchers to present their work and engage in meaningful dialogue with experts and peers, reinforcing the University of Hyderabad’s reputation for excellence in research and scholarship.
