The International Conference on Advanced Biomedical Imaging, organized by IIT Madras pCoE Biosensing, pCoE Molecular Medicine and IIT Madras Bioincubator, sponsored by Evident Olympus, DSS and Leica Microsystems was conducted at the IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai, from January 9-11, 2023.
The conference was divided into 3 sessions – Molecular imaging, Cellular imaging and Translational Imaging, Sensors & Devices.
Eminent scientists and researchers in their respective fields from India and abroad gave talks on cutting edge technologies and science along with student participants who gave oral presentations and poster presentations. A Workshop on hands-on advanced microscopy techniques and image analysis was also provided for selected participants.
Ms. Sruthi N, PhD scholar under supervisor Prof. Sharath Ananthamurthy from the School of Physics won the second prize and a cash award for her oral presentation on the topic “Particle-tracking via video microscopy in the yeast cell”.
